Welcome to the Passionate Arista. I am 24 year old artist located in New Gloucester, Maine. Art is part of my soul. There is not a person, object, shape, or spectrum of light that I do look at and imagine on paper. My passion for art guided me through high school where my nick name was "The Art Girl". I rarely surfaced from the art room during my teenage years. To a major of Fine Arts in college, where I thought my creativity was in jeopardy of being stifled, except for this one art teacher named Linda, who showed me how to use passion and talent no matter what you desire to create. She really made me believe artwork could be a stroke, a shape, a shadow, as long as it was your creation. If it was not for her, sending the class off to appreciate the talent of Giacometti, I may have given up on art all together. To my one bedroom closet of an aparment, with my two window living room as studio space. To the recent wonderful exhilaration of my first exhibit in an art gallery, heart a flutter, overflowing with expectations and wonder.My passion and devotion to art has never left me and I want to personally invite you into my world of artistry. My work includes Pet Portraits, People Portraits, Nudes, Misc paintings, or Commission Work. Every piece is open to interpretation and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
